CHAPTER 17: Darkness
CrossFire walked leisurely along the grassy path—at Midnight, when the predators attacked their preys and the shadows crept up on all who walked alone. She could differentiate the blood stains from the red roses that she stepped on. Shadows moved around her constantly, but she didn't care, until one stepped in front of her.
It looked like . . .
"Optimus Prime . . . !" She yelled, taking her stance and bringing out her staff. The figure didn't seem to react. There was something odd about the Prime. He wasn't . . . colorful—blue and red. It seemed so awkward.
"Don't be defensive." The Prime said. His voice sounded so different. Not like it usually does—it sounded more like KnockOut's voice but lower. "I'm Optimus' brother, Magnus."
"Like . . ."—she lowered her staff—"Ultra Magnus?" She added. "The Old Man,"
Magnus chuckled, "He's my creator. But I hate him."
"So we both hate our creators then" CrossFire kept her staff and scanned Magnus. He looked exactly like Optimus but black. "If you're Optimus' brother then—"
"Well, not technically 'brothers.' We are created by different Cybertronians but we seem like brothers for we are 'connected' in a way." Magnus explained.
"That reminds me of Sonic and me." CrossFire said. "Are you a Prime?"
"A Prime? Ha! Of course not; if I were a Prime I would commit suicide."
"I hate them too," CrossFire felt so close to Magnus. They were so alike, and if only he didn't look like Optimus then he would have been a perfect mate. But, of course, she already had KnockOut.
"I didn't get your name," He said, his grey optics staring at her.
"CrossFire,"
>///<
"Jarhead," CrossFire said as she approached the Oppressor from behind. Vehicons surrounded them—KnockOut, BreakDown, etc. included. "I wanna introduce you to Magnus," She heard mumbling from the crowd. They were indistinct but she could hear the word 'Magnus' over and over again.
"He will destroy us all!" KnockOut yelled and ran out of the room. BreakDown followed to protect KnockOut's dignity.
"Silence!" Megatron yelled. And the room fell into silence.
"Idiots," CrossFire whispered then raised her voice. "I wasn't talking about Ultra Magnus." She stepped aside and presented Magnus—or Dark Optimus Prime. "He's not Prime; so, no worries."
'He could be of use to me.' Megatron thought.
>///<
CrossFire and Magnus were sent to retrieve the coordinates to the Autobot base. As SonicWave's twin sister, of course she knew where it was but never told Jarhead. She just decided to improvise and fulfill her one true mission: Destroy Optimus Prime. She already made a plan. One, embarrass her sister. Two, tick off Jarhead. Three, kill the Prime.
'Magnus is a liability . . .' the voice spoke within her mind, making her head ache. 'He is distracting you like the vain one. He must go . . .'
"Shut up" She whispered. "Then why aren't you making me kill the vain—KnockOut?"
'He will be killed like the rest . . . we will kill them all . . .'
"I shouldn't have asked you."
"Asked me what?" Magnus asked. He was listening to CrossFire talk to herself the entire time. "Nothing . . ."
'Kill him . . . make him suffer . . .'
"Shut up," She groaned then looked at Magnus who stared at her awkwardly. CrossFire chuckled and turned to the plateau in front of them. It was incredibly huge and the road stood across it. The road wasn't busy and cars barely drove on it.
"How do we know when we've found their base?" He asked brushing one hand against the solid rock. "I can sense it." She said grabbing her staff, the tip radiating Dark Energon and electricity. "Hide behind that rock,"
Magnus nodded and hid. His shadow was visible, yet it seemed like Optimus Prime's. She tapped the tip of her staff against the rock. Then a small fraction of it crumbled until a steel door was revealed behind it.
SonicWave stepped out as the steel door slid open. "What?" She asked her sister.
"Oh, nothing," CrossFire replied, swinging slightly from side to side. She knew Optimus wasn't home because he had to patrol the city with Bumblebee—thank you SoundWave. "Don't you want to see Optimus?" She said gesturing to Magnus' shadow.
"Optimus!" SonicWave called out and headed for him.
The door began to slide shut and CrossFire jammed her foot in between the doors to stop them from closing.

Chapter 20: The War Begins
BOOK ONE FINALE!
Special: Since this chapter is the Book one finale, I'll do it from different points of view. Anyone can tell the story. It will be irritating at times, yes. Especially CrossFire's . . . 'fun' way of telling the story; Enjoy and maintain your sanity!
CrossFire: KnockOut watches me while I maintain in sleep mode. He doesn't know that the annoying part of me in sleep mode is that I am self aware. I can hear and see anything that goes on outside of me. My body is the only one resting. Though, I can't decide whether KnockOut watching me while I sleep is sweet or creepy.
A moment later, he yawns and flexes. Damn. I feel li
19: The Twins: The Destroyer and The Protector
Primus created the 13 original Primes to help him vanquish the Chaos Bringer, Unicron. But that still wasn't enough. The Primes did the best they could to weaken the Chaos Bringer, but they were failing. Unicron easily regained strength in every attempt to defeat him. What were they lacking?
Obviously another ally; though, they were lacking the proper resources, Primus had to consider. So, he built the last Prime, a femme. She possessed a fragment of her father's spark, making her more powerful than her brothers combined. She will protect anyone from the Darkness. And when her brothers fall she will be the last one standing for she will not

CHAPTER 18: Darkness Part 2
CrossFire walked in the Autobot base as if she was of that affiliation. She looked around and saw no one. They must be on patrol or something. Looking at the primitive earth technology they used. It made her laugh.
"Would Ratchet flip out if I mess with his computer?" She asked herself. "Of course he would." CrossFire chuckled and brought her hand close to the screen. But before she could even touch the thing Magnus came in. "What are you up to?" He asked, placing a hand on her shoulder.
"Leaving a surprise for Ratchet,"
"Do that later. Send the coordinates to Lord Megatron."
She mimicked his last sentence in
TFP Fanfic: Chapter 16: Power
(((Personally this is one of my fave chapters. And it's almost the end of book 1. Awwwww))))
CHAPTER 16: Power
"Why are you so nice today, CrossFire?" SonicWave asked, secretly hiding in CrossFire's room from Megatron. Her twin was sand dusting her tongue to remove the taste of WheelJack. "Maybe it's the Autobot disease," CrossFire replied, putting the sand duster down. She spit on the ground and saw her sister quiver in disgust. "You know," She paused and grabbed the rotary buffer from under her computer. "Cause WheelJack . . . me and all." Her voice rose and dropped as she buffed her neck to get rid of the scratches WheelJack left.
